赴美生子入境时，很多孕妈非常担心一不小心说错话就会被关“小黑屋”、甚至遭海关遣返，其实大家不用那么担心，海关的工作人员大部分还是非常友好的。

如果实在担心，大家可以准备一份入境说明信，根据自己的情况来写，给海关看当然是英文版，除此之外，海关官员还有可能再问你一两个他比较关心的问题，记得！回复的要和说明信一致。

那么说明信怎么写？以下为模板参考：

尊敬的官员，

我们一直想来美国旅行，感受一下美国的文化，参观美国的名胜古迹，但是由于工作原因一直没有假期来美国旅行，此次借助产假时间我们决定来美国旅游、购物、生孩子（因为美国是无痛生产）。

在这期间我们已和美国洛杉矶的妇产科***医生联系及预约产检时间（已带有预约单）。我们计划在拉斯维加斯玩几天，然后再去洛杉矶，已有预定拉斯维加斯的酒店。

此次旅行险我们带了现金支票信用卡几张银行卡（多少金额）、全球含美国地区的医疗保险。

我们在中国有两套房子（总价值在RMB：600万右左），在国内我们有非常稳定的工作，已带有工作证明，所以此次在美国所有消费，我们有足够的经济能力来支付所有的账单费用，绝不会占用美国任何资源。我们已购买回程机票，确保行程结束我们立刻回国。

Dear Officer，

We have always been dreaming to have a trip in the United States in order to experience the American culture, visit the tourist attractions. However, because our jobs are very busy, so we did not find any chance to do so before. Now, we would like to take this maternity leave as a chance to do shopping, travelling and giving birth to our child (because of the advanced epidural treatment in US).

During our staying in US, we have contacted with the obstetrician *** in Los Angeles and have made appointment with him/her (attached please refer to our appointment letter). We plan to travel several days in Las Vegas and then go to Los Angeles. We have booked the hotel in Las Vegas.
